TRS Pawa (Rice Flake) Thick 1 Kg
Also referred to as Poha, Pawa is rice that has been parboiled then rolled and flattened which yields different sized rice flakes. These flakes absorb water quicker than standard rice, and are often used to make variations on rice pudding.
In Western states of India, Pawa is a staple breakfast ingredient. In dishes like Aloo Pohe (Maharashtra) and Batata Poha (Gujurat), onions and potatoes are mixed in with spices and poha to result in a breakfast of champions of sorts. For something a little lighter, use your medium Pawa rice flakes to make Idli (a light rice cake) or Dosa (South Indian pancake).

Ready to cook savory Rice pan cake dry mix, 100% Vegetarian, No preservatives, No artificial Flavour or colour, An Alternative to the steamed rice-lentil idli, rava idli is made from semolina tempered with spices, blended with yogurt & steamed.
How to Prepare:
1. Put to boil approx, 1ltr water in a large steaming vessel or pressure cooker, Mix content of this pack with 750ml of water add 5tsp fiely chopped coriander leaves, stir to a smooth batter and set aside for 10mins
2. Lightly grease isli moulds with oil , stir batter gently and pour 30ml batter into each mould
3. Place idli moulds inside the steaming vessel , cover and steam on high heat for 15mins , if pressure cooker is used, do not apply weight/whistle , serve steaming hot, fluffy side up with gits instant sambhar and coconut chutney
Ingredients: Semolina & Lentil flour partially Hydrogenated vegetable oil shortening , Bengal gram, salt, sodium bicarbonate & citric acid, Dehydrated green chillies , Curry leaves, mustard seeds, dried ginger powder, fenugreek powder, Asafoetida powder, and butylated hydroxy anisole.
Gits Khaman Dhokla Mix
Ready to cook savory garbanzo cake dry mix, 100% Vegetarian, No preservatives, No artificial Flavour or colour, A Specialty of western Indian state of Gujrat, Khaman Dhokla is a popular, Traditional snack made from fermented chana dal batter.
How to prepare:
1. Blend 50ml oil and 200ml water, pour into khaman Dhokla mix gradually , blend very gently with minimum stirring until batter is smooth.
2. Pour batter into 5 backing trays greased withoil, steam on high flame for 15mins , if pressure cooker is used, do not apply weight or whistle, remove and allow to cool for 10mins and cut into 2 inch cubes or wedges.
3. Heat 75ml oil add 2 and 1/2 tbsp mustard seeds, when crackiling add a pinch of asafoetida powder, and 2 and 1/2 tbso of sesame seeds, then put off gas spread evenly over the Khaman Dhokla pan cake, sprikle 5tbsp of each fresh coconut and chopped coriander leaves serve with green chutney.
Ingredients: Chick peas flour, Semolina, sugar powder, salt, citric acid and sodium bicarbonate, Asafoetida, turmeric and sodium acetate.
